Karun Petrochemical Company, relying on collective knowledge and wisdom and focusing on research, registered three new products in 2010, namely KLM-100B, KHR-45, and KMT-10, in the system of the Presidential Vice-President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. The production of these products was carried out after conducting market studies and passing nine levels of technology in 2010, and they reached mass production and commercialization in the same year. The approval of these products and the registration of a knowledge-based certificate for them were carried out after the evaluation of the Scientific Vice-President's assessors and the maturity of the technological levels and the novelty of the technology used were confirmed, and finally, in July 2011, Karun Petrochemical Company, as the first petrochemical company, succeeded in obtaining a knowledge-based certificate.
